Wesker was growing very irritated at the female creature that seemed to follow him wherever he went. It was as if she recognized him. It hadn't been that long ago since he had seen Lisa Trevor but it was amazing given the state she was now in. The iron grips that once held her in place had been torn from the stands and the shackles on her ankles were dragging behind her as she shuffled after him. Te three faces waved back on forth as she stalked him. She had already attempted to swing down in his head with the iron grips, she would have succeeded had he not moved just another inch or so.

He now found himself trapped in the chamber of her mothers resting place. The stone walls held the heavy chains over the stone lid of the coffin; completely stopping the chains from being budged. The gate was locked as she came through in her rampage, just as he was nearing the lab.  The ground he stood upon was only a few square feet and there was hardly any room to run.

He fired his samuri edge may time into her head but it only angered her. Everyone always said she was totally immortal….he wasn't quite sure if he agreed with that or not. Though she was proving to be a handful she had only been fired into by a nine millimeter about fourteen times. He frowned as he heard the click of his weapon after firing the fifteenth round. He pulled out an extra clip and only hesitated for a split second hearing footsteps descending from the ladder. He turned his head slightly catching a blue beret and a green vest. Chris and Jill no doubt.

"Feel free to jump in any time," he stated. His tone was calm as always if a little frustrated. Chris and Jill frowned and opened fire. For many times they played a slight game of fire as much as you can then jump over the coffin for distance. Chris sighed heavily.

"I'm running on empty here! Any ideas Captain?" Wesker nodded and tossed his head towards the four stones.
"If you can manage to knock those over the edges, the chains should fall with them. I think what she wants is inside that coffin." Her mother's skeleton but he didn't know that now…or so they were thinking. The pair nodded as Chris began running for the stones.

Wesker stayed with Jill and continued distracting a very angry Lisa as Chris was pushing the third one off.

"One more left!" Jill grit her teeth together as sweat began to slid from her forehead.

"Hurry!"  She rolled away as Lisa took a too close for comfort swing at her. Wesker was knocked off of his feet and slid off of one of the edges. He managed to grab out but he only managed to grab the chain linking to Lisa's ankle. Pulling the creature off balance she screamed in pain and was pulled off of her feet and onto her side. She began sliding off the edge but caught herself with her arm and leg, clinging for dear life on the stone. Wesker was dangling over however many feet by the chain of the monster, who seemed to be loosing her grip. Jill screamed thinking she had lost her Captain. She rushed to the edge but stayed clear of Lisa to peer down.
"Wesker!" He looked up at her and nodded his head.
"I'm alright!" Chris rushed over as well and panic began to set in as Lisa began sliding over the edge further. Chris; without thinking twice, grabbed the chain of her second ankle and began pulling her into the splits so she wouldn't quite fall.

"Sorry freak…Wesker climb!" Wesker did so and began pulling himself up the chain. Lisa screamed in agony and tried swinging her arms but only managed to knock her upper body upside down against the wall. She began thrashing around as Chris and Jill struggled to hold onto her right leg while the Captain struggled up the left.

Grabbing her hunched back he continued his climb literally using her as his ladder. He was finally close enough to the edge to grab it as Chris held onto the monster, and Jill reached out for his hand. He took it as she helped him up. Seeing all was clear Chris released the chain and let the monster fall to her death. Wesker sighed and stayed on his hands and knees for a moment to regain his composure.

"Good work you two." It was about as close to a 'thank you' as he could bring himself to get. Chris smiled and pulled him up by the arm.

"Hey, when we get out of this, you can treat us to dinner, deal?" Wesker snorted at the joke as Jill walked up to him.

"Are you alright Captain?" He nodded again and wiped some grim from his face.
"Aside from nearly falling to my doom I'm doing rather peachy. Anyway, Chris, Jill; I'm going to stay here for a bit longer; I have a few things I need to piece together. You two go on ahead alright?" They nodded their heads and hurried off. He smirked widely. They were still so ignorant to his true will…well not for much longer he assumed. He needed to find the secret door and get into the lab, fast.

He walked into the direction they went and opened a hatch that was placed underneath a certain flight of stairs. Dropping down into it he sealed the door and began going through the dark tunnel until he finally reached his destination. He wouldn't have much time to act so he had to get what he came for and go.

He stayed in the labs for about fifteen minutes before the door opened. He looked at the reflection from the bright screen and spotted Barry. He turned to him and frowned.
"Well?"  Barry sighed heavily and holstered his gun.

"They're coming close…and they both saw those pictures that someone left near the projector. They know about you and Umbrella." Wesker smirked slightly and nodded.

"Perfect, go back up and lead them here. I have a few last words for them before our team must be spilt apart."  Barry glared at him and stood firm for a moment.

"What about my family? I've done everything you said Wesker, tell Umbrella to let them go." Wesker smirked at him and sighed.
"Barry, I've already told you, Umbrella has no hold of your family. I do." The older man growled and threw his hands up.

"Then you let them go! Goddamnit Wesker I've betrayed my friends, I've lied to my wife and kids, I've almost been killed more times tonight than every before in my life, what more do you want!? Just what did Umbrella ask you to do that you would do this to someone!?" Wesker raised a brow and leaned against the monitor station.
"Barry, I believe you once again didn't listen to me the first time. Umbrella has nothing to do with my personal goals here. All they wanted was some combat data. Had you listened, you would probably have piece together I wouldn't have held your little family in my grasp for something so simple. You would just have been fighting until the records were gathered, then I would've 'found a way out' and this would all be over. Honestly use your head." Barry shook his head again and his already bad headache was now up to migraine level.

Wesker narrowed his eyes behind the shades and pointed to the door.
"Now do as I asked. Get them in here." Barry glared daggers at him but did as he was told. Satisfied Wesker turned back around and began searching the file cabinets for William's little gift to him. Finally he found an injection gun, holding inside of it a vial holding a pinkish coloured liquid. The label read 'use it W~' This was it.

His thought was broken as the door opened again, revealing Jill, Chris, Barry, and to his surprise, the medic. He snorted and jabbed the needle into his arm. This was it. He pulled out his gun and began walking up to the four.
"Chris, you make me proud." Chris glared at him heavily. He was so fumed after figuring out it was him behind this entire thing after all they had been through together, and he even saved the bastard's life twenty minutes ago!
"Wesker…since when!?" Wesker raised an eyebrow and stood firm.
"I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about." Since when what? That was quite a vague question. Chris clenched his fists together and nearly screamed.
"Since when have they been slipping you a check!? Umbrella! After all we've been through!" Wesker shook his head slightly and approached.
"I think you're a bit confused Christopher. I've always been with Umbrella." Jill went to get her own gun until she heard a click behind her head followed by a gasp from Rebecca. She turned her head and spotted Barry holding his precious magnum; Miranda, to her head.
"Well what do you know, you even had an accomplice." Barry's eyes saddened deeply. The words cut through him like a knife and to make it worse, it was true. Wesker smirked a little and gave a slightly shrug.
"Oh don't judge so harshly Jill, I hear Mr. Burton's better half, and two lovely daughters will be in danger if he doesn't do everything I tell him." Barry was somehow relieved that Wesker finally told the truth, but would the ever forgive him? Chris glared and his face became flushed.
"You killed them; you killed them all in cold blood. They were you're comrades! They would've done anything for you, died for you! They trusted you; I trusted you, and you mean to tell me it was all a lie! Did it mean nothing to you at all!? Why!?"  He was shaking from anger and hurt. Wesker was his best friend, he was his role model, he wasn't afraid of anything and knew how to handle any situation, everything he ever told him, everything that happened in S.T.A.R.S. as a dysfunctional family, all a lie. Wesker smirked again and tilted his head slightly.
"Dear Chris, don't take it so personally, honestly I could care less about you or S.T.A.R.S., even Umbrella for that matter." Chris shouted loudly at the blonde man almost trying to knock his head off with his voice.
"They why did you do it if it was all meaningless!?" Wesker laughed a little, causing the burnet to bolt forward. Wesker however saw it coming a mile away and round housed kicked him in the chest, causing him to stop on a dim into his boot. He came back with a second kick knocking him to the ground. Jill pulled Chris to his feet and kept her hand on his shoulder.
"Chris…" She couldn't even find words, but she couldn't let Chris just do something like that again. No matter how much she wanted to.
Wesker smiled again as it the entire situation was just funny to him.

"Of course it had no meaning Chris; I did this for my own interests actually. Honestly I don't think you would understand, but as far as cold blood, I did nothing of the sort, short of Enrico that is." Chris blinked and felt his heart split remembering how Enrico was shot. He mentioned a traitor, he thought Chris was the traitor at first but Jill stopped Enrico from shooting him, only a second later he was shot directly in the heart from an unknown source. So Enrico had found Wesker out all along.
"The cold blooded killers you are referring to would be the B.O.W.s you have been battling all night. Cold blood is this remember?" As he finished the sentence he aimed the gun towards the young medic and opened fire. The shot landed as the girl was knocked to the ground.

Jill shrieked and tried to rush to the medic but Wesker aimed at her next, making her stop in her tracks.
"Don't move." Barry at this point had had quite enough of everything. Even if it meant his family he couldn't bear watching his friends being slaughtered in front of him. Without another moment of hesitation he opened fire and hit Wesker twice in the chest. Wesker groaned and fell to the floor.

Chris and Jill both wirled around as he lowered his head and held his gun down. Jill went to Rebecca who began to sit up, thanks to her bullet proof vest she had only knocked her head on the floor but she wisely play opossum. Chris looked at Barry for a long moment until the older man spoke.
"Chris….I'm so sorry, he had my family, but I could watch anymore…please forgive me, I'm so sorry." Chris, and the girls smiled to the older man and embraced him in a friendly hug, wordlessly forgiving him. He smiled brightly feeling better that he hadn't lost his only friends left in S.T.A.R.S. and his family would be safe. He then froze in place as Wesker pressed a button on a small hand held device. The rest of them turned to him as he began standing back up in front of a tank.

"How incredibly touching." The tank behind him began to glow revealing a large creature inside. It stood well at seven feet in height and had a large clawed hand on the left side. It looked like a human but its heart seemed to be suffering from situs inversus; causing the heart to be on its right side. The heart began beating and suddenly Barry felt sick.

The creature suddenly reared it's clawed arm back and shot through the glass an through Wesker as well. He groaned out but hardly a noise could be heard as he was lifted up from the ground. It then tossed him aside like a rag doll and h felt himself hit another panel. Then, after the intense pain, came nothing.
Sorry it's been so long guys but this one took a lot of thought. More than it should have, plus I lost so much motivation. Anyway enjoy! :D
